The focus on Wolverine could be another contributing factor as to why Spider-Man 2 didn’t get any new story DLC. However, the plot is structured in a way that gives focus to other villains and storylines at the same time. Like Batman having to save Mr. w188 from The Penguin so he can make a cure for Joker. There’s a way to balance your stories, and Insomniac has yet to do it. A Spider-Man 2 trailer with an extended gameplay demonstration was revealed during the latest PlayStation Showcase.

There is no official info that the game will be verified for Steam Deck, however, the previous Spider-Man game was playable on the handheld, so it’s possible that the sequel will be as well. There’s no debate about whether Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are great games. They’re exceptional, with the sequel polishing on an already absolute thrill of an experience.
